Applying a beveled edge to a button creates a raised look for buttons on your Web site. You can create an inner bevel or an outer bevel.
Inner Bevel and Outer Bevel
To apply a beveled edge to a selected object:
| 1 | In the Effect panel, choose a Bevel option: |

Emboss > Inner Bevel |

Bevel and Emboss > Outer Bevel |
| The pop-up edit window opens. | |
| 2 | Edit the effect settings in the pop-up edit window. |
| When you have finished, click outside the edit window or press Enter to close it. | |
| If you chose Outer Bevel, choose the color of the bevel. | |
| In the Button Preset pop-up menu, choose an effect preset for buttons. See Using bevel effects to draw button states for more information on button preset options. | |
